Cytech Europe hosts Irish training courses
|
Cytech Europe has recently appointed Idas as the sole Irish distributor of its Comfort home automation system.
On the back of this news the company held a two-day training course last month helping installers to understand the finite details of installing the rather complex system. A previous seminar in London in March drew installers from Greece, Cyprus and Poland as well.
Training covered the design, installation and programming of a typical system and included exercises and practical work on training rigs designed by Cytech.
Commenting at the close of the course, founder and director of Cytech, L Y Chiu said, "I am rather pleased at the excellent response to the training course, and with the newly-designed portable training rigs that allow easy access to the Comfort modules facilitating the hands-on aspect of the course. Feedback from the trainees will help to improve the course that will become a regular event in the UK.
"The Comfort home automation system allows, amongst other things, greater security with complete internal and external control of residential or commercial settings.
"It's a more sophisticated system than many of our competitors and there's more training involved. It's an advanced alarm system but also links into the internet and lighting system for instance," Mr Chiu continued. The company will be launching a new product shortly.
